Historic Architecture for Classic Wedding Portraits, The Joslyn

The first time I visited The Joslyn, I wasn’t a photographer yet. I was new to the U.S., in nursing school, and honestly just someone who deeply loved art. I remember walking through the museum feeling inspired and thinking, one day, I’d love to tell a love story in a place like this—even though I had no idea how or when that would ever happen.

Fast forward to now, and that quiet dream became real. With thoughtful planning and an incredible group of vendors, I had the honor of photographing Anna and Sam’s love story at The Joslyn. Watching them be fully themselves in a space that felt so true to who they are was incredibly meaningful—not just for them, but for me too.

This is why I believe your wedding day should feel like you. Whether that’s choosing a location that reflects your love for art, history, nature, or something deeply personal, those choices are what turn your wedding into a story—not just a day. When couples give themselves permission to celebrate in a way that feels authentic, the love shows up so naturally in the photos.

I’m endlessly grateful to be a wedding photographer and to work with couples who value meaning, intention, and creating something that truly represents them.
